The BBC is to broadcast the recent Doctor Who Prom next month.
An edited version of the event will air on BBC Three on September 6. The hour-long programme will begin at 8.30pm.
The channel will also screen the documentary special Doctor Who’s Greatest Moments and a repeat of fifth series finale ‘The Big Bang’ in the lead up to the Prom.
The event originally took place on July 24 and was previously broadcast on BBC Radio 3. It was hosted by series stars Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill.

Article: Amy says Doctor stays this side of the Pond
MATT SMITH has no plans to quit Doctor Who despite rumours he is to leave next year, according to his onscreen assistant Karen Gillan.
Tabloid rumours last week suggested Smith was to leave the BBC Wales hit after a second series in the hope of landing film roles in Hollywood.
But Gillan, who plays Amy Pond, had reassuring news for fans of the latest and youngest incarnation of the iconic TV role.
“Matt will be sticking around. I think those rumours were made up,” she said at the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup Final at Cowdray Park Polo Club.
The 27-year-old Smith already has a huge following after winning over critics.
Smith and Gillan are filming the show’s Christmas special in Cardiff and Gillan said the atmosphere on set was “great”.
As revealed last week, classical music star Katherine Jenkins is to make her first serious foray into acting after landing a role in the hour-long episode.
The Neath singer will appear in an episode based on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
A BBC spokesman said: “Matt is filming the Christmas special and then goes on to film the second series. Beyond that, the BBC and Matt won’t speculate.”
Article: Matt Smith to quit Doctor Who?
Matt Smith is reportedly planning to quit Doctor Who.
The actor, 27, is expected to leave the hit show after the next series to pursue a film career.
‘He is eager to try new things and thinks Hollywood beckons,’ says a source.
The BBC admit Matt is only contracted to make one more season.
‘He is filming the Christmas special and then goes on to film the second series,’ a spokesperson tells The Sun.
‘Beyond that, the BBC and Matt won’t speculate on things.’
Project: Christopher and his Kind
Christopher Isherwood (played by Matt Smith), escapes repressive English society and his suffocating relationship with his mother, Kathleen (played by Lindsay Duncan), for the decadent – and politically unstable – world of Thirties Berlin.
Jean Ross (played by Imogen Poots), is an aspiring actress and singer who provided Christopher with the inspiration for the Sally Bowles character of Cabaret fame.
Gerald Hamilton (played by Toby Jones), is a peculiar man who provided the inspiration for the title character in the celebrated Isherwood novel Mr Norris Changes Trains.
Wystan Auden (played by Pip Carter), is the famous poet with a droll sense of humour who persuaded Christopher to join him in Berlin.
Heinz (played by Douglas Booth), is an unassuming street cleaner who Christopher meets and falls in love with during his time in Berlin.
The hedonistic Berlin cabaret scene is in full swing when a young and wide-eyed Christopher Isherwood arrives in the city, unable to speak a word of German, to stay with his close friend, Auden.
To Isherwood’s reserved English sensibility, the city’s thriving gay subculture is thrilling and intoxicating. But Christopher soon finds himself heartbroken after the failure of a hopeless love affair, and so sets out on a process of self-discovery.
Christopher And His Kind is written by acclaimed playwright Kevin Elyot.
